Prayers that worked and prayers that didn't

When I was 11 years old I started praying really hard for a life-changing dream place in a school that takes in only 250 candidates out a total of 25,000. If I do the maths right, I think that's 1%. I promised, if I passed the qualifying examinations, two screenings at that, I'd help my parents and my beloved country. To make a long story short, I won a place in that year's intake. Today, I don't pray for things like a Ferrari or a mansion on the hill or even fur coats and all that. I never get them anyway. So I just raise my voice and ask that His Will be done. |

Wow! Was it the prayers or was it your ability? In any case, belated congratulations. Eleven is quite young to be praying for a strategic life goal, most kids pray for toys, or vacations. Would you mind sharing the name of the school? Us Westerners are so ignorant.
I guess it is hard to refute that His will IS being done regardless of if we pray or not. Very helpful information. I mentioned this Intel in my Twitter this morning
